Rosalie is an art historian, consultant, and presenter with deep expertise in the business and history of art. She holds an MA in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute, where she studied the specialist module, New York, London, and Paris between 1880 and 1940, a period of monumental shifts in the art world. Her academic foundation is further strengthened by a First-Class Honours BA in History of Art from the University of Birmingham.
Her career spans leading institutions such as Frieze, Christie’s, and Gagosian, where she honed her skills in sales, client relations, and project management. With a refined focus on modernist painting, her expertise extends into post-war and contemporary art, allowing her to provide insightful analysis and strategic guidance within the art world.
Rosalie has built a thriving global network across London, Paris, and Wales, and is currently based in Paris for a three-month residency. Her international experience and cultural fluency enable her to help artists elevate their public profiles and assist brands in integrating art into their marketing strategies—creating meaningful connections between audiences and the art world.
Her contributions have been recognised by the Contemporary Art Society for Wales (CASW), leading to an invitation to interview Peter Wakelin in an illustrated conversation in Cardiff in front of a sold out audience of 75. She also serves as a Trustee of the Josef Herman Art Foundation and plays a key role as the Selector for CASW’s prestigious annual Student Award, reinforcing her commitment to fostering emerging talent and supporting artistic legacies.
Beyond consultancy, Rosalie is the creator and host of BRUSHSTROKES, a podcast that delves into the cutting edge of creativity. Each episode explores a single artwork or project, offering engaging and insightful dialogues on materiality and meaning in contemporary art.
